This pedal is 1" longer than the stock brake pedal to increase the distance between the peg and the brake pedal for riders who like some extra room. There is no reason to spend a lot of money after you mangle your brake pedal or simply want to replace an ugly rusted out one when we have the exact same part at a much better price.
